Destacking of containers

Our destackers work, depending on the container shape, with separating knives, sliding plates or separating screws. The containers are continuously and actively held and guided when separating from the magazine down to the transport. Thanks to the modular and flexible design, our destakers work with many different shapes at high cycle rates with superior efficiency. Long operating-time magazines and automated cup loaders & feeders are available.


Transport system

Rychiger has two unique transport systems available:

The world wide reknowned “Walking Beam” transport system combines the advantage of a continuous motion system with the benefits of an intermittent transport. The mechanism itself is in constant motion (no stop/start), whereas the containers are moved intermittently and stopped and positioned precisely where a filling or sealing operation takes place. No chains or other parts are traveling through the machine – if we have fill spoilage it remains local and cannot be spread into other process steps – the machine simply stays clean. The “WALKING BEAM” quickly changes over to a new format, is wear resistant, easy to clean and is completely free of any effect of play or lengthening.

The patented “Carrier Plate” transport system is as precise as a Swiss watch. The containers are moved intermittently, stopped and positioned precisely where the various filling or sealing operation takes place. The patented and specially designed “Snap-In” system ensures a quick and operator friendly change over to a new format, is wear resistant, easy to clean and is absolutely free of any effect of play or lengthening.

Filling Technology

Rychiger provides accurate filling solutions for various Food and Pet Food products in plastic and aluminum packaging.
We build dedicated

Rychiger guarantees precise fill volumes and clean, drip-free filling conditions. Volume adjustment from touch screen, check weighing and automated CIP (Clean In Place) increase flexibility for quick product changes.


Cutting & Sealing Technology

Direct lid cutting:
The unique direct lid cutting technology cuts the lids from the roll-stock and seals them to the packaging in “Only One Stroke”. The ideal angular foil feeding from roll-stock, optimal coil width and the well thought out tool placement allows an unparalleled material usage. With this unique technology, Rychiger machines are able to make more lids from one single reel than other machines can. Furthermore, this concept allows you to use all kinds of existing and future flexible membrane materials.

Pre cut lids:
The flexible and very precise lid feeding system places the pre cut lids directly onto the upper sealing head. The specially designed vacuum system keeps the pre cut lids in position. This feature guarantees ultra precise placement of all kinds of existing and future flexible foil materials.

Sealing technology:
An extremely strong and ultra-precise sealing station is the heart of any Rychiger machine. The combination of a mechanical seal stroke and preloaded individual air-springs on every lane guarantees very precise and short dwell times at high seal forces. The temperature of each seal head is constantly monitored. The result is highest seal integrity and constant easy peel characteristics.
