Account Manager
We are currently searching for an Account Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the creation and execution of a sales plan that focuses on relationship building, business development and account management.
What you can achieve
- Creating and implementing a sales plan that aligns with our corporate vision and objectives while taking ownership of sales activities and targeted revenue.
- Building long-lasting business relationships that are beneficial to the client and profitable to our business.
- Keeping abreast of supply and demand, changing market trends and economic indicators.
- Keeping current on competitors’ pricing and product offerings to maintain a competitive position in all market areas.
- Identifying, driving, and capitalizing on a pipeline of new opportunities through targeted account selling across Canada.
- Managing sales opportunities through our internal sales process from prospecting new clients through to the closing of a sale across Canada and or North America.
- Maintaining current sales and technical knowledge through various learning opportunities (e.g. workshops, networking events, publications).
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Why you will succeed
- A post-secondary education in sales management or a related discipline.
- Two to five years of experience in B2B selling; capital industrial expenditures preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building strong business relationships with customers using effective communication skills to identify and understand their needs.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills coupled with the proven ability to influence others.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and solve problems to meet customer needs.
- Exceptionally self-disciplined to work independently.
- Strong computer software experience (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CRM, etc.)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to travel across Canada and/or North America on a regular basis.
